Another Brick in the Wall – Korn

My Parents were big Pink Floyd Fans, I can remember listening to them on our record player back in the day. While this was one of their favorite songs, it wasn’t mine. Mine was probably On the Turning Away. However, as one of their most popular songs, it was kind of cool to hear Korn do a cover of it. They definitely gave it the Korn flavor instead of just trying to make an exact copy.

Porsche 959

History of the Porsche 959

When it was introduced, the Porsche 959 was the fastest production car in the world and the poster car on my wall. My friends had Lambo’s and Ferarri’s and one even had a Vector W8. Often cited as the most technologically advanced car of its time it was the first twin-turbo all-wheel drive Porsche made, and one of the first AWD sports cars ever. It had a top speed of 197 miles per hour. The 959S version could reach 211MPH. The 0-60 time was 3.6 seconds and 0-125 in 11.5 seconds. Its 1/4 mile time was 11.8 seconds at 128MPH. The car was built with an aluminum aramid composite body and chassis with a Nomex floor and magnesium wheels giving it a curb weight of 3,197 pounds. It was powered by a sequential twin-turbocharged 2.8L flat-six making 444HP.

Take On Me – Weezer

Weezer has done quite a few covers, including the whole album this song is on. Usually, I complain about bands not doing covers in their own style and sounding exactly like the original but I think Weezer actually managed to make this song sound even more like 80’s synthpop than A-Ha even managed. It’s good though, I like it.

2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio #5/30

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

History of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio

The 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia is an executive compact sedan similar to the BMW 3 Series or Cadillac ATS. It replaced the Alfa Romeo 159. The Giulia Quadrifoglio is more like the M3 or ATS-V versions. The engine of the Quadrifoglio is a 2.9L (2,891 cc) twin-turbocharged 90-degree V6 engine. Developed exclusively for the car by Ferrari technicians, this V6 is related to Ferrari’s F154 twin-turbocharged V8 engine, sharing the Ferrari California T’s bore of 3.4 in (86.5 mm) and stroke of 3.2 in (82.0 mm). It produces 506 hp (377 kW) at 6,500 and 443 ft·lb (600 N·m) between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm. This is one of the best sounding cars in the game in my opinion.

Mortal Kombat 11 Teaser

It was my birthday, so I bought myself a few new games, and Humble Bundle was having a sale on games, so I ended up getting 6 games for $52, including this one for $11. I haven’t played Mortal Kombat since probably PS1 or PS2, so graphically and soundwise this game is much better. I will probably put some time into it and do a more in-depth review. All 5 of the other games I got were Ubisoft games, including The Crew 2 and Ghost Recon Breakpoint so I will need to put some time into those as well as keeping up with my other games. I think it’s time to clone myself like in Multiplicity. Get Yer Humble Bundle Here (Yes I get a kickback, thanks for the support)
