Ferrari FXX-K

History of the FXX-K

The Ferrari FXX-K is a limited production track day car based on the LaFerrari. It is a Hybrid, it’s not street legal, and it wasn’t designed to conform to any particular race’s rules and standards, it is just a prototype not meant for competition, but just as a development vehicle to showcase the technology. As a Ferrari Client Test Driver Program car, it is stored at Ferrari, maintained by Ferrari, and Ferrari allows the owners to drive them only on track days at special tracks.

The FXX-K is powered by Ferrari’s 6.3L naturally aspirated V12 making 848 horsepower and a 187hp electric motor with a 7-speed sequential dual-clutch transmission. The FXX-K’s real-world specifications give it a 0-60 time of 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of 217MPH. In Forza Horizon 4 the stock numbers are pretty close

Fully Stock the FXXK is an S2 989 PI car. It weighs 2831LB and is rated at 1036HP with RWD just like in real life. This gives it a power to weight ratio of 0.366 HP/LB. In stock trim, I managed a top speed of 208. I did a 1/4 in 9.76 seconds at 157MPH and finished 1st, in the Ambleside sprint road race I finished 7th place with a time of 1:48:30.

Fully Modded Performance

The FXX-K had few upgrade paths available to it like some of the other top end hyper cars. With all available mods, it’s an X Class 999 with 1,144HP and a weight of 2875lbs with a 0.398 hp/lb ratio. In the 1/4 mile, it did 8.915 seconds at 173MPH in 1st place. In the top speed run, it topped out at 218MPH. In my Ambleside sprint road race I finished first with a time of 1:37:58 making it s full 10 seconds faster on that track.
